- Enquiries. When you use our enquiry form we receive your name, email address, the service you’re interested in, your message and — if you choose to give them — your phone number and business name.
- Emails and calls. If you email or call us, we receive whatever you choose to share, including any pictures or files you send for your project.
- Website logs. Like most websites, our hosting keeps standard server logs — such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and the date and time — to keep the site working and secure.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and deliver work you order.
- To keep the business records we need.
- To protect the website from abuse, for example by limiting repeated form submissions.
We rely on taking steps at your request before a contract and performing a contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and securing this website, and our legal obligations to keep business records.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your information or share it for marketing. It’s processed on our behalf by our website hosting and email providers, only so that we can run the website and receive and answer your messages.
Cookies and tracking
This website doesn’t use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and our fonts and media are served from our own server. Links to Instagram, Facebook and TikTok take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only for as long as we need to respond. If you become a customer, we keep the information needed for our business and legal records. Server logs are kept by our host for a limited period.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop or limit how we use it. Email nik@ratedpromovideos.com and we’ll respond as the law requires.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
